Dr. Haroon Rashid is a board-certified internist with over two decades of experience in primary care, hospital medicine, and urgent care. He earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Marshall University.
Fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, Dr. Rashid is known for his personalized, unhurried approach to patient care, taking the time to understand each patient’s unique health needs and goals. He is committed to building long-term relationships and delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to the community he serves.
Co-Founder & Family Nurse Practitioner
Carole Rashid is a Family Nurse Practitioner and co-founder of Vista Medical Center, providing family medicine services for patients of all ages. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
With more than 10 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a background in nursing, Carole brings both clinical expertise and genuine warmth to every patient interaction. She and Dr. Rashid founded Vista Medical Center on the belief that an independent, community-rooted practice can provide a more personal and patient-centered healthcare experience.

Read moreI arrived on Friday night after a kitchen accident, where several patients in more serious condition were already ahead of me, so I had to wait about 30 minutes past my 10 pm appointment. I needed 5 stitches in my hand. It had been a very busy day for them, and I was the last patient.Despite the delay, MA Jorge was very kind, highly diligent, and answered all my questions. Then I saw Dr. Rashid, who promptly stopped the bleeding and carefully stitched my hand to ensure minimal scarring and faster healing. He also answered all my questions and maintained a calm, professional manner.
